TIBCO Mashery performs scheduled maintenance weekly, every Tuesday starting at 9:00 PM PST/ Wednesday 00:00 AM EST.

These weekly releases are a combination of product feature releases, bug fixes and customer specific deployments. Latest updates to the TIBCO Mashery cloud platform are posted on community site at https://community.tibco.com/wiki/tibco-mashery-release-notes

As always, unless otherwise noted, these releases are zero down time with no impact to any area of the TIBCO Mashery service.

Dear Customer,

As a current user of our Call Log Export feature, you are enjoying the benefits of having call log data delivered to your S3 bucket for use in your own data warehouse. We recently launched field masking for Call Log Exports and we continue to listen to your requests for increased security. We are happy to announce that we have launched support for native S3 Server-Side Encryption.

This new functionality is available now! To help you take advantage of this new feature, we have created a CloudFormation template, which will automate the creation of the required configurations and produce the artifacts that will need to be configured within Mashery so that we can begin delivering logs to your S3 bucket(s), which will be encrypted on the server side.

We selected native S3 Server-Side Encryption using KMS and other security best practices such as assume-role access to your bucket because it should have minimal impact your the S3 CLI, API, or SDK, implementation requiring a small change to the request. It will also give you greater control and an audit trail.

Because security is more important than ever, our target is to deprecate the existing IAM based bucket policy functionality on 5th November 2020. Between the launch of the encryption functionality and the deprecation of IAM bucket policy support we are requiring customers to run in both modes. The provided CloudFormation template will allow you to either apply the new settings to an existing bucket, or create a new bucket with both sets of configuration.

We will notify you once the IAM policy functionality has been disabled, at which point we recommend that you remove the IAM based policy from your S3 bucket. Call Log configurations not implementing the new encryption policy by early November date, mentioned above, will be disabled until such time their configuration is updated.

The CloudFormation template is available for download here: https://developer.mashery.com/files/ECLE_customer_resources.yaml. Additionally, contextual information is available within the application on the Call Log Export create and edit screens.
