Dear TIBCO Cloud API Management - LE customers on 4.x release,

Please note that 4.4.3 is the last major release on 4.x architecture. The End of Support (EOS) for the 4.4.3 release was set to 12/31/2022. The EOS date has been revised. The new EOS date for 4.4.3 release is 06/30/2023. We would like to encourage you to take advantage of this time to review your upgrade plans to the latest release of TIBCO Cloud API Management - LE 5.x. The 5.x release has improved architecture that supports containerized platforms.

The upgrade guide from version 4.x to 5.x architecture is in the release notes of version 4.4.3 Hotfix1 (available in the Downloads section on support.tibco.com) and 5.5.1 (available on eDelivery). You can also contact your TIBCO Account Representative or Customer Success Manager to arrange a presentation on the upgrade process.

The upgrade path will depend on your usage of oAuth tokens:
With no OAuth usage, one can install APIM LE 5.5.1 Tethered and sync with the area using a new MoM key.
For customers with OAuth usage and who want to retain the old active tokens, they will need to use the 4.4.3 HF1. The version 4.4.3 Hotfix1 contains a utility to help migrate and sync existing tokens from Local Edition 4.4.3 to Local Edition 5.5.1. It does not include changes or additions of any new API management features to the 4.4.3 version. This release is cumulative and may be applied over any other Mashery Local 4.4.2 release.

If you feel that you will not be able to upgrade by 06/30/2023 then please contact your TIBCO Account Representative to discuss further as soon as possible.
